| We have the Two-for Pricing setup that when a customer rents a new release the old release comes free. I have noticed that when two 7 day new release rentals and two old releases are entered and a manual price override or alt-f for a free rental is made to the first listed rental the second 7 day new releases will change to a 1 night rental and cannot be changed back to 7 day rental. This only happens if the first listed rental is changed. The movie pricing method is set to category.
The Movie categorys are set as follows:
N: New Release 1 12 V
20: 7 Night Movie 16 13 V
O: Old Release 2 13 V
The Two-for Pricing is set as follows:
Everyday Member 1 2 Y 4.28
Everyday Member 16 2 Y 4.28
I have checked the price grids 1 is set to all one day rentals
16 is all seven day rentals, and 2 is all seven day rentals. Is this an error in the system or in how we have it set up. (posted - 05.April.2007.12.18.pm) -- | |
| Hi David, It does appear that strange stuff happens with the logic in that particular scenario. I will forward the details to the programmer for review and forward his response to you.
Thanks,
Steve
